Job summary: Implement and review Brand Marketing strategies and programs for the assigned brand to develop and grow brand equity and market share Key responsibilities: • Develop sub brand operating plan (BOP), lead the team to execute strategies and tactics based on approved resources, ensure brand equity meet the targets in line with BOP. • Review the local communication strategy to support the BOP • Indentify consumer knowledge gaps, and provide inputs to the Sector Team on regional projects • Develop and execute Consumer Promotion programs for each brand to achieve sales and equity KPIs • Manage the Advertising and Consumer Promotion Budget for assigned brands • Develop monthly trade promotion strategy for assigned brand • Manage trade promotion budget • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and align customer and supply chain process/activities where applicable • Provide market-specific consumer insights as inputs to the Sector and/or country innovation plan. Provide management oversight for the launch of product innovations • Develop and execute price increase/decrease plans based on the pricing strategy • Communicate local packaging requirements in terms of language, government regulations and labelling laws to the Sector Team. Lead the local execution of regional packaging • Provide direct reports with Performance Management, coaching, appropriate learning and assignments, goal setting and career development • Make recommendations that optimise business processes and improve the Brand and Trade team marketing capability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Marketing • At least 4 years’ exposure to brand marketing and/or trade marketing in the FMCG industry. • Experience in a management position is preferred. • Good knowledge of brand development, trade marketing/promotion, and consumer goods industry dynamics. • Proficiency in MS Office, Advisor of Nielsen and PC-based applications. • Fluent in English
