Report to: Sales Director Job summary: Leads the development and implementation of specific sales strategies in order to achieve superior retail fundamentals Key responsibilities: • Develop and execute channel/geographical strategies aimed at achieving agreed market share and sales in allocated business unit. • Develop and implement yearly business objective, goals, strategies & measures • Develop organizational capability and competencies critical to the achievement of the business goals and strategic directions • Set business/sales strategies to meet consumer/shopper demand in the assigned geography/channel • Analyse, review and manage business drivers such as gross margin, mix, consumer and trade promotion to maximize ROI and ensure mix, margin and profitability being achieved • Lead the MFT towards relationship management with key customers and business partners to strengthen business relationships and business • Manage the business of assigned geography and oversees relevant activities of support functions • Ensure that support functions’ initiatives and projects are aligned with geography’s business priorities and their services are optimized in the achievement of the business goals • Lead, coach an aligned multi functional team towards achieving common shared goals and objectives to drive stronger customer facing initiatives in assigned channel / geography
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA is preferred • 7-10 years experience in which with 5 years experience in the FMCG industry and minimum 3 years management experience • Knowledge of trade retail environment • Experienced in managing multiple regional distributors or direct key accounts • Proficient in MS Office • Strong analytical, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills • Success in managing diverse accounts in a multinational company is preferred
