• Lead and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and storing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies. • Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures. • Ensure the proper material supply for operation of the plant , increase the ratio of local supply and reduce the overall purchasing cost of materials & services • Implement the ndirect procurement in meeting the goods and service procurement requirements of the plants and commercial office • Identifies and develops major Funding-the-Growth initiatives, gain local alignment and delivers financial results to the bottom line. • Execute and communicate the overall sourcing process to stakeholders and deliver significant savings. • Negotiates indirect materials directly and/or support specific negotiations. Increase use of SAP e-sourcing tool to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness • Drive the purchasing team both strategically and operationally with special emphasis on agreed targets and KPIs in order to ensure the continuous supply for the plant operation on a timely manner. • Leads and monitors Code of Conduct compliance. • Works closely with functions such as Sales, Marketing, Promotion, Production, Technical, Engineering and Finance.
• Bachelor's Degree in technical or business, CPM or equivalent. • Minimum 5 years Purchasing, Finance or Supply Chain experience. SAP experience an advantage. • Experienced in controlling an average purchasing team • Ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers. • Ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues. • Pragmatic, hands-on and result oriented buyer with strong analytical skills. • Good organizing and planning skills, ability to implement contingency plans and strategies for any business interruption. • Generate cash savings through the identification and negotiation of more cost effective sourcing opportunities.
