• Develop clear Sales strategy and ensure that all business plans within the Field Sales teams are aligned to achieving business priorities • Play a key role in the successful implementation of the Sales Team • Represent the company in a professional manner and with integrity • Review the effectiveness of the execution plans and provide feedback to the Commercial Management Team • Ensure that Sales Practices & Procedures are fully implemented in line with policy, to regularly audit each region to ensure adherence and to take corrective action when required • Manage decisions around the work scheduling of the Field Sales team and the logistics of execution, in order to achieve Area driven targets • Effective management of area sales budget overheads • Build effective business relationships with customers • Ensure that all relevant feedback from customers is communicated in a timely manner to the appropriate department managers • Develop and apply category management principles to customers • To develop the skills and knowledge of sales individuals and within the sales teams • Be an inspirational and motivational leader, ensuring the buy-in and commitment of all team members, and peers within the business
• Above 30 years old • University degree, preferably in Economics, Marketing or Business Administration • Excellent spoken and written English • At least 2 years Business Management experience in multinational FMCG companies. • At least 2 years broad-based sales management experience • Strategic thinking • Brands marketing skills • People management/development, able to motivate and inspire people • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to prepare and deliver presentations. • Dynamic, adaptable, results-oriented approach. • Ability to work independently and under pressure. • Effective negotiation skills and ability to maintain and develop the company’s sales network • High level of initiative, integrity and honesty, ability to work independently and under pressure
