• Manage a team of business system analysts and infrastructure to support local infrastructure & business applications handled by IT Shared Services Centre • Liaise with users to gather requirements and propose total business solutions to satisfy their needs • Lead the project team to ensure application & infrastructure development, implementation, enhancement and maintenance are delivered promptly. • Manage procedures to handle development requests, problem resolutions activities • Coordinate with the database service team in maintaining databases and application systems, ensuring performance improvements • Support various business requirements with expertise in the development and enhancement of business applications • Review application and performance recommend any necessary changes. • Initiate, control and report any system or operational deficiencies and recommend areas for improvements • Plan and manage IT projects accordingly to a well planned schedule and within operation budget constraints • Ensure the entire IT services are delivered to the business units at agreed upon service levels • Evaluate staff performance
• Bachelor in Computer Science or IT related fields • At least 5 years of information management experience in a technology based MNC • At least 2 years of people management experience • Experience in at least 2 full implementation cycle of oracle applications (ERP) • Experience in PL/SQL, Oracle DBA and shell scrip programming in a technology based MNCs • Experience in web technology, HTML, Java script programming preferred • Experience as a technical architectural / technical leader is essential • Excellent knowledge of the business application system such as oracle, PL/SQL • Good understanding of service level agreements • Interpersonal and communication skills • People / project management skills • Coordination skills • Proficient in English, both verbal and writing • Business process knowledge • Understanding of business/industry • Analytical decision making • Business perspective/sense • Leadership • Planning and organisation • Customer focus
