Report to: Finance Director • Ensure all the commercial and accounting transaction records in the system are in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting standards • Prepare monthly and yearly accounting reports and monthly tax declarations • Provide overhead expense & analysis of the Division and report any significant variance. • Review the payment status and make necessary accrual at year end. Accruals include A&P spending, overheads and allowances; ensure the year end closing has included all material items, both sales and expenses. • Review year end management report and discussion with FD for any significant variances before submission to Regional. • Responsible for setting up and executing the Account Receivables monitoring procedures. • Liaise and submit to Regional all reporting required. • Monitor and compare shipment and profit & loss to the budget • Assist FD to put the whole budget & strategic plan together. • Liaise with Marketing and Sales for their volume and A&P input. • Provide pricing analysis and evaluation to FD and Sales department heads for their decision & approval; advise impact of new pricing on the budget. • Manage day-to-day operations of the logistics function in terms of order fulfilment processes, product forecasting, inventory control, customs, warehousing and distributions etc. • Monitor logistics performance and cost, identify area of improvement • Liaise with the auditors and manage all accounting issues related to yearly audit, under FD’s supervision • Process with all necessary internal audit, based on internal needs defined with Group Financial team • In charge of relationship with the local authorities regarding any tax control or accounting requirement • Review the effectiveness of controls over financial and operating procedures; provide recommendations to Finance Director on the implementation of relevant controls and policies. • Other ad hoc project as specified by FD.
• Fluent English and Vietnamese (4 skills) • Bachelor’s degree (overseas education is preferred) in Financial Accounting and Management • CPA licence is a plus • At least 6 years solid accounting experience in a corporate environment, preferably in FMCG industry • Expert to use spreadsheet analyse and manipulate data • Good knowledge of Vietnam taxation and legal accounting with experience to deal with tax authorities • Have a systematic approach and be able to document clearly the proposed changes • Self starter, able to manage works in priorities under pressure
