Report to: Technical Director • Facilitate plant (or country) achievement of the manufacturing strategy & provide operational excellence leadership • Develop and implement plant plans to support the manufacturing way • Conduct and moderate global evaluation of manufacturing (GEM) assessments • Manage the identification and implementation of plant improvement projects • Conduct appropriate benchmarking • Coordinate the plant project selection process • Provide industrial engineering support • Support the systemic application of asset management in the plant, ensure that maintenance work is managed & autonomous maintenance is implemented at the plant • Lead the quality and integrated management systems in the plant, ensure that process and product quality remains under control, ensure the integrity of quality analyses and associated systems & governance of quality in the department • Manage HSE and risk in the plant • Implement and manage the annual business plans/budgets • Manage Human Resources: attract, recruit, train & retain talent • Raise ideas/ ask for supports to EXCOM which is related to MDM’s responsibility works • Coordinate with related sections in to steer the manufacturing way. • Monitor and evaluate the KPI of section, in order to find solutions for performance improvement
• Bachelor of Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Technology, Science • 3 years as a section manager (e.g. Area Manager, Unit Manager, Section Engineer or external equivalents) in an FMCG Manufacturing environment. • 2 years of experience in leading capital or process improvement projects. • Experience in TPM – Merchanical • Some experience in people change initiatives and process improvement. • Membership of a professional institute advantageous. • Implementing the operational excellence system. • Advanced Asset Management. • Appropriate Project Management certification. • Change management • Decisive, quick action, honesty, result-oriented, responsible, enthusiastic, passion for work, high commitment, discipline, self-motivation, self-starter
