Report to: Country Sales Manager • Develop strategies & manage implementation of internal sales and marketing. • Ensure the development and implementation of sales and service is consistent with business unit objectives to maximize market penetration and profits of existing and innovative technologies. • Develop strategies for R&D activities to identify new technology & opportunities for both existing & new products, to meet short & long term sales goals & strategic market penetration. • Monitors sales volumes, revenues and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas. • Improve the overall performance of sales team by adapting procedures or re-allocating resources. • Develop sales, customer retention, pricing strategies for assigned area. • Maintain a safe, healthy working environment by ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations. • Attend business and trade functions, participate in sales and product presentations and serve as a company spokesperson to promote a positive company image, enhance customer relations. • Provide sales representatives with coaching on technical aspects of company products and services; sales techniques, procedures and standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent. • 7 to 10 years managerial experience in resins, coatings or coatings resin sales and marketing, research and/or related field. • Good leadership and management skills with proven track record. • Fluency in speaking and writing English • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. • Team player • PC literacy for report generation and preparation.
