Report to: Manufacturing Director • Check and record quality of raw materials. • Report, monitor and drive reductions in non-conforming goods. • Coordinate with sales and manufacturing teams to reduce customer complaints & report on complaints in a timely manner. • Work with sales and customers to identify areas where improvements are required. • Work with manufacturing team to develop products in line with customer requirements. • Ensure all machines operate with the correct certification. • Trial and report on new technologies and methods as suggested by the group; actively seek out and implement group best practice. • Manage relationships with key internal customers: Production, Sales, etc. • Ensure company Health and Safety policy is implemented. • Identify training needs & create clear training plans for the department.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of subordinates. • Other responsibilities as requested by Manufacturing Director.
• Bachelor’s degree • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing environment. • Management experience, ability to influence people & get the best out of all the team. • Fluent in English. • Ability to present reports in a clear and concise fashion. • Ability to work in a systemised methodical manner.
