Report to: Demand Manager • Validate & maintain sales history and coordinate with Sales & Marketing departments • Lead the weekly Operational Forecast generation, adjustment and finalization process across multiple departments to include Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Sr. Mgt. • Attain and maintain high level of proficiency in use of forecasting tools – Arete Prevail for operational forecast and Marquee for RE and BP. • Participate in collaborative Sales & Operations Planning process with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to generate Rolling Estimate forecast and long term sales plans. • Guide decision making on priority SKUs with operations personnel. Lead conduct of demand planning portion of weekly Sales & Operations Execution meeting. • Provide training to sales, Sr. Mgt, and Marketing on effects of events, weather, and bias on forecasts. Support ongoing training of new personnel in demand planning process. • Analyze weekly forecast accuracy, conduct PME root cause analysis of error, lead communication and support action plan implementation. • Analyze performance data in order to identify business plan variances using established systems and ad-hoc problem solving. • Lead determination of forecasting methods, modeling history to use, and most likely demand curves & forecasting methods for new product introductions. • Maintain and update all departmental volume reporting for use in general communications and internal inquiries in order to facilitate accurate volume-related transactions and reporting. • Measure and benchmark the demand planning process in order to improve the accuracy of demand management.
• University degree in relevant majors • At least 2 years of experience in similar role • Knowledge of specific sales, marketing and supply chain capabilities, strategies and interdependencies to perform short and long-term business planning. • Knowledge of demand forecasting statistical techniques and inputs • Ability to conduct root cause analysis; evaluate statistical signals; determine data errors and ability to fix. • Knowledge and use of existing KO Technical Information Systems to generate necessary data • Knowledge of KO marketing strategies, plans, programs and initiatives. • High level of interaction with multiple departments and ability to communicate, collaborate and convince managers at many levels
