Report to: Trade Marketing & Communication Manager Subordinates: 03 employees • Understand the dynamics of each market segment and how the drivers of demand in each segment will affect future demand, • Develop a process to gather and communicate appropriate competitive intelligence (including detailed analysis, interpretation) to drive strategy development and market education. • Monitoring regulations (products, uses, environment, and safety) to anticipate any change or trends in the market • Understand needs and insights of each customer group (contractors, specifiers, distributors) • Identify and prioritize key segments’ needs & growth opportunities, develop segment strategies, value proposition and marketing program to drive increased penetration of plaster board ceiling and drywall in different segments • Conduct in-house surveys to different groups of customers and/or key influencers when required to come up with proposed actions
• Bachelor or Master degree in business administration, civil engineering or architecture • At least 5 years of experience in commercial and project experience in construction/building materials in which 2-3 years as a manager in Marketing • Strong analytical skills, know- how to collect and analyse market information • Good knowledge of construction material market with basic technical background in construction field • Fluent in English, both written and verbal • Good presentation skills
