• Manage credit risk with emphasis on monitoring and improving performance in the area of credit & collection and ensuring KPI’s are within group requirements • Be a member of the Country Credit Committee that has responsibility of monitoring credit portfolio performance and developing of credit policy. • Ensure KYC is completed for all new credit applications. Review and assess new applications and provide recommendations to the Credit Committee for any new Credit accounts and / or changes to credit limits of existing customers. • Enhancing and maintaining system for gathering, monitoring and reporting credit data for distribution to country managers, the credit committee members and others, as may be required, including monitoring local credit committee meetings and decisions, accordingly to DOA. • Conduct Credit visits to customers as required. Keep up-to-date on issues within the businesses by having close relationships with the sales managers. • Responsible for following up with customers on a daily basis to ensure payment is made on time. • Coordination of local legal and private collection agents on recovery issues. Ensure that any and all Provision for Doubtful Debts is done in accordance with Puma’s corporate policy and issues are flagged on a timely basis. • Ensure all internal and external Credit reporting is completed within required deadlines. Ensure all requirements for credit insurance is maintained.
