• Collate and analyze Consumer and shopper information, customer / channel performance • Prepare overview about sampling, promotions, distribution, merchandising, range effectiveness • Prepare SWOT analysis for key Channels from competition point of view once a year, and contribute to Channel Planning • Develop medium/ short term channel objectives and support strategies with aim to deliver the category and brand plans (strong co-operation with the Category Sales Channel Manager, and sales team) • Develop promotion guidelines at various channel and customer level and bring ideas about trade specific and tailor-made promotions in line with category and brand objectives • Develop merchandising, space and display objectives • Develop and maintain channel plans aligned with marketing and sales priorities and targets (communicate them and gain commitment as appropriate) • Monitor competitor activities in the channel / category providing insight to competitive advantage • Evaluate Promotion and investment efficiency • Support sales team by preparing fact-based selling stories for new product launch
• Core knowledgde of the 10 Principles and expert knowledge of responsibility • Good knowledge of key business functions • Working Knowledge of core Business Processes e.g. Integrated Commercial Planning, Monthly Business Planning & Innovation & Renovation Stage Gate Process • Understanding of Shopper, Market Intelligence sources, Competitive Landscape & Category/Channel/Shopper trends
