• Prepare full set of accounts for statutory audit for a group of companies in Vietnam, in accordance with VAS system and in compliance with relevant local laws and regulations. • Be responsible for statutory filing/declaration to government authorities such as VAT/EIT declaration, various statistical report as required by governmental and provincial authorities. • Liaise with auditor, attend to and deal with audit queries. • Prepare monthly management accounts in timely manner in the format required by management, and ensure all necessary profit & loss account and balance sheet schedules are kept up-to-date. • Manage and supervise to ensure all payments made are in accordance with contractual obligation and/or internal control policies. • Prepare cash flow forecast and involve actively in cash flow planning. • Review detailed general ledger to insure proper expense and income allocation and assist in preparation of all balance sheet schedules and reconciliations. • Be responsible for monthly tax statements for review by Deputy General Director. Submit these to the Tax Authorities on a timely basis. • Be responsible for the monthly bank reconciliation. Journalize all relevant bank reconciling entries not otherwise booked. Verify that all necessary entries to the general ledger from the bank statement are made. • Involve actively in inventory and fixed assets management. Be responsible for the recording and accurate filing of all fixed assets on the fixed asset ledger. Timely recording the depreciation for all company assets. • Coordinate with QA/Cost Control Manager and make sure all expenses properly captured to projects. • Liaise effectively and efficiently with Tax Authorities and Ministry of Finance, as and when necessary. • Liaise with Lawyer with regard to matters such as application/amendment of investment license, application of tax incentives, etc. • Manage and supervise the team of accountants in all accounting duties and responsibilities; Provide guidance and necessary supports. • Any other duties assigned by Deputy General Director, relating to finance and accounting areas. • Responsible for the accuracy of all entries made (or posted) to the general ledger. • Assist in preparation of financial statements in compliance with all government and internal regulations.
• Possess a bachelor degree from a government university in finance and accounting, with Chief Accountant certification. • Well-verse with laws, decrees, circulars relating to PIT/EIT/VAT/Import & Export Tax, Foreign Exchange transaction. • Well-verse with Vietnamese Accounting Standards and VAS system. • At least 6 years working experience in similar position with a foreign manufacturing company. • Knowledge with Navision ERP systems will be an added advantage. • Able to communicate in both English and Vietnamese fluently. • Dynamic, willing to take initiative, organized and able to work under pressure to meet the dateline. • Mature and tactful in communication. • Ability to work independently, think creatively. Minimal supervision required.
