• Develop and ensure the effective implementation of the EHS management system at the construction site. • Development of the Project Health and Safety Plan and its revisions. • Control compliance with local EHS requirements and Company policies and procedures, and informing Project Manager about Vietnamese legislation requirements. • Implementation of a monitoring system including regular inspections and audits. • Involvement into the incidents & accidents investigation process, providing recommendations to the General Contractor & installation contractors concerning corrective actions. • Overall coordination of safety team work, including General Contractor safety representatives and installation company safety representatives, support their knowledge concerning Company’s standards, conflict management, drive for common safety approach, conducting safety meeting. • Participate in the approval of the relevant project safety documentation: Risk Assessments, Method Statements, etc. Ensure contractor compliance of same. • Oversee the safety management systems employed by the Construction Management Company, and the construction contractors and process equipment installers. • Collect the relevant statistical data for company (and statutory) recording purposes: Manpower levels, worked days, accident rates, etc. Ensure same data is reported into the company recording systems.
• University graduation preferred in safety field. • Necessary work experience - 3-5 years at Construction Safety. Priority will be given to candidates had experiences with foreign-invested projects • Knowledge of Vietnamese legislation in a field of safety, environment, industrial and fire safety, emergency situations. • Knowledge of international safety standards • Experience of work with state authorities • Knowledge and understanding of safety tools (Behavior Audits, LOTO, Job Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessment, Near Misses, etc) • Good at English communication.
