1. Job Summary
• This position designs and develops Java test applications for Android portable devices. • Or designs and develops C and C# test applications for embedded Windows devices. • This position validates the product meets product requirements. • This position operates under some supervision, but is mostly independent. • This position is able to work autonomously in his or her assignments, but can also work in a team environment.
2. Specific Responsibilities
• Design and develop test software to validate the SDK, system and web based applications • Research the simplest way to reproduce the defect and enter it into the defect database • Will be a team member to develop remote automated test system for embedded devices • Provide status reports to team members • Perform special projects or assignments as required • Be able to travel to any of facilities or partner locations in the world
• Bachelor's degree or higher in software engineering, business (IT), or computer science • 4 to 6 years of experience in programming Java applications for Android devices. • Or 4 to 6 years of experience in C and C# programming applications for embedded Windows. • Must have good software development skills and practices, including requirements engineering and writing design documents. • Must have good English writing, speaking and listening skills and have good interpersonal skills.
