• Be responsible for the development, preferred logistics and distribution hub of North Vietnam. • Close liaison with both container shipping lines as well as large multinational buyers of manufactured consumer goods made in Vietnam (aka the BCO segment). • Include multinational logistics providers/freight forwarders. An added facet will be close interaction with both local as well as central authorities in logistics potential as the container terminal of choice in North Vietnam. • Other Accountabilities: - Formulate sales strategies. - Identify new markets and business opportunities. - Manage the sales and customer service efforts of the companies. - Initiate and manage sales campaigns and promotions. - Market branding/organize customer events. - Monitor competitive developments. - Market communications/intelligence.
• Vietnamese national • University degree • International outlook • An effective communicator • Fluency in written and spoken English • Proven leadership skills including a minimum of 5 years managerial experience from the logistics and distribution industry in Vietnam. • A minimum of 10 years overall industry experience.
