FUNCTION:
• Lead the Maintenance team to maintain continual & efficient operations of the factory’s facilities including machineries, utilities, excluding coating equipments.
• Develop and train staffs for long term purposes.
• Participate in developing new products/projects.
• Be responsible for reacting to findings of internal audit and initiating corrective action to ensure strict conformance to the Department Procedure designed to ISO 9001: 2008 (E), Quality Manual and EHS.
• Support coating maintenance team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plant Maintenance (60%)
• Develop procedures and training staffs to make sure that all procedures requested by ISO, OHSAS, SHE are understood, followed properly and strictly within the department.
• Develop and implement Planned Maintenance Program.
• Develop troubleshooting guidelines for all equipments.
• Cary out inspection of critical equipment/items and investigate cause(s) of failure for appropriate action/measures.
• Supervise third party contractors working in the factory and coordinate their activities in the factory to maintain continual production.
• Coordinate with Production sections improve machines’ efficiency.
• Recruit and train maintenance staffs about maintenance, machine inspection to reduce downtime and turn them into higher level.
2. Maintenance & Utility Expense Control (10%)
• Budgeting, controlling expenses within the approved budget.
• Take part in cost saving program by using spare part properly, efficient production plan, increasing machine efficiency, reducing machine breakdown, alternative source
• Work out the solutions to optimize energy.
3. Spare Parts Inventory Control (10%)
• Controlling spare parts stock to make sure that all critical parts are identified and available in the store.
• Maintain stock value within approved budget by harmonization, classification.
• Coordinate with purchasing to find alternative source for better lead-time to reduce inventory.
4. Leads And Provides Direction In Quality And EHS Programs (10%)
• The internal customer driven concept is consistently encouraged and practised to continually improve right first time performance.
• Test and manufacturing equipment are maintained, calibrated on schedule and new test equipment needs are identified, justified and procured.
• EHS programs are supported.
• EHS and Quality procedures are followed by all employees in his charge.
• Quick and responsible action is taken to correct safety or health hazards.
• Good housekeeping habits are implemented and maintained.
5. Build And Develop A Successful Team (10%)
• Ensures a fair and consistent performance appraisal system is maintained.
• Training plan for the team to capture current and future growth of the business developed and implemented.
• Encourage the team participate in improvement projects.
6. Others
• Completes special assignment from GD on a timely basis.

Education:
University degree (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics)
Experience:
>=3 years of working experience as a maintenance managerial position in a manufacturing environment
