• Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials are released to meet production requirements.
• Ensure major projects and program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including engineering, manufacturing, procurement chain and quality.
• Notify management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
• Produce capacity plans and analysis to support business planning requirements.
• Establish and maintain the master production schedule for all end items.
• Level-load the production schedule, analyze resource capacity, and implement valid build schedules.
• Determine optimal end unit forecast and safety stock levels.
• Maintains inventory levels to required production schedules.
• Maintain weekly and monthly reports to communicate master production schedule performance.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve material, machine and manpower constraints that interfere with schedule completion.
• Review requirements for the production master schedule (6 months out)
• Analyze and identify risks, perform supply demand analysis each month, each quarter; ensure accuracy of information.
• Integrate with production team to determine the needs and constraints of the manufacturing factory through engagement with functional groups, and schedule work orders accordingly.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Material, Engineering.
• Understand, anticipate and represent customer requirements and translate, via the master production schedule, to employees and management.
• Respond promptly when issues arise and alert the team in a timely manner in order to resolve issues quickly.
• Update new product introduction project schedule based on changes in the Master Production Schedule (MPS), engineering activities and materials updates.
• Ensure the maximization of resources for the production facility - capacity, materials, and labor.
• Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan, identify gaps and drive solutions to the requested production schedule.
• University degree in Economic, Foreign Trade, Business Administration or a related field with minimum 5 years as a Master Planner.
• Experienced in ERP system preferably AX Dynamics
• Experienced in Purchasing terms and logistic terms
• Knowledgeable in LEAN and JIT.
• High standard of written & spoken English is required (ref. - IELTS Score of 6.5)
• Computer literate, good at Excel, Access;
• Strong problem solving and analysis skill
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment and ability to manage and prioritize a challenging workload;
