• Receive new fabric sourcing requirements from customer/merchants and find suitable supplier.
• Develop the new fabrics as per customer requirements.
• Submit new fabrics to customer with required test reports.
• Negotiate prices for new fabrics.
• Review quality issues from QA, Merchant and factories and give solutions/decisions.
• Review and approved Lad Dips and bulk dye lots.
• Prepare fabric collections for customer visits as appropriate
• Visit mills to discuss price, quality and capacity as required for merchant teams.
• Keep an eye in yarn price trend on line.
• Get updated on latest developments/technologies in yar/fabric/dyeing/printing.
• Identify the need for new supplier and source appropriate supplier.
• Monitor the process in mills and act on right time to avoid any quality issues.
• Maintain relationship with mills.
• University degree in Textile Engineer,
• Min 7-8 years of experience in the Industry
• Excellent Communication skills in English
• Well Organized.
