Report to Plant Manager
• Lead the promotion of safe operating practices
• Manage the Safety system
• Lead and organize EHS training
• Prepare and manage the contractor safety program for including contractor selection, training and monitoring.
• Collect and report to monthly EHS statistics
• Help understand and enforce Vietnamese EHS regulations.
• Organize incident response and reporting: incidents and near miss root cause analysis.
• Lead audits regularly to ensure adequate safety situation.
• List and analyze potential EHS improvement, prioritize them methodically and organize continuous sustainable progress with plant team support.
• Organize, facilitate and report on the monthly EHS committee.
• Represent the plant and company with local authorities: fire department, environmental agencies, auditors.
• Young graduates can be accepted through a management trainee program
• Prior operational experience in a Lean manufacturing environment is a definite plus
• Has the drive and presence to “make things happen”
• Ability to implement company vision and policies into clear and practical application at the workshop level
• Excellent communication skills both in English and Vietnamese, being confident to listen, work with and influence people at all levels.
• Credible, professional and effective at all times.
• Strong organizational skills, be able to collect and mange data effectively.
• A team player who is outgoing and personable.
