• EOHS Supervisor are responsible for executing Global EOHS Strategies in their own facilities to ensure compliance with Local Regulations and Company Standards.
• This includes the use of guidelines, self assessments, inspections, training and other programs to enable the subsidiary to deliver consistent, superior EOHS performance and be in compliance with all Standards and regulations.
• He / she will have ‘subject matter expert’ knowledge in at least one EOHS technical area that can be shared within the facility and he / she will be actively developing additional areas of EOHS knowledge and expertise.
• He / she, once trained and qualified, is responsible for leading and / or participating in the Global Corporate EOHS Audit Program within their own region, but not within their own facility, to ensure conformance with Company standards and government regulations.
• He / she will play a leading role in developing corrective action plans arising from the corporate audit and for tracking actions to closure.
• He / she will play a leading role in developing and executing the facility Annual Management Plan including the facility Annual Self Assessment program.
• He / she will leverage data based KPI's and audit results to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in EOHS in their operations and to reduce waste streams.
• He / she will build relationships, when appropriate, with outside consultants, government agencies and suppliers as well as with Company business partners e.g. Divisional and Corporate EOHS, Human Resources, Medical, Product Development, Legal, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Packaging, Engineering, and materials procurement.
• He / She will manage waste water treatment system effectively and efficiently to comply with Company’s requirements and local regulations
• Lead the development of an annual EOHS management action plan for the facility to ensure ongoing compliance with both regulatory requirements and Company Standards
• Provide EOHS technical expertise and leadership to help the subsidiary deliver excellence in execution.
• Provide EOHS subject matter expertise throughout their region as appropriate.
• Investigate and assess areas in their subsidiary where performance is substandard and, in partnership with local management, make recommendations and assist in developing actions to address in a timely manner.
• Set local goals (KPI’S) and ensure that data is correctly reported into the global databases. Periodically report progress to all employees at the facility. Track trends and analyze the data to prioritize actions.
• Deliver existing Corporate and local training programs , (once qualified and approved as a trainer)
• Take the necessary training and participate in the necessary activities, e.g. audits to become certified as a Company Auditor.
• Lead or participate in Corporate EOHS audits at facilities within their specific Division but not in their own site.
• Participate in optimizing and standardizing factory designs for improved EOHS performance. Assure consistent and complete EOHS Technology Transfer between functions within GSC organization and within functions in their local subsidiary.
• Actively participate in design teams for key engineering projects
• Ensure sign off on all ‘Management of Change’ projects to ensure EOHS compliance.
• Capture key learning, best practices, potential issues / trends and opportunities for improvement and communicate locally on a regular basis.
• Participate in the investigation of all incidents and accidents and near misses. Ensure that lessons learned are codified and shared as appropriate and that corrective action has been taken to remediate the root cause on the incident, accident or near miss.
• Ensure that all regulatory permits are maintained current and that the facility remains in compliance at all times.
• Visibly and actively maintain a high profile EOHS presence on the shop floor and ensure that EOHS is given the necessary attention.
• Lead on standard owner program

• Develop programs to implement regulatory requirements and EOHS standards for the plant.
• Participate in regional EOHS teams
• Participate in Company’s EOHS Audit Program as an auditor and/or auditee
• Facilitate development of waste minimization initiatives
