Manage all aspects of production in order to meet production targets with minimize waste and minimize downtime for the production of plasterboard.
• Ensure the company HSE policy and Regulation are fully complied at production level.
- Responsible for ensuring that safety systems and procedures are in place and adhered to. Developing and implementing safety systems and procedures for specific activities associated with process, machine and equipment
- Make sure that employees always comply with EHS regulations during the course of operating equipment and machinery
- Maintain production site to keep clean and tidy
• Production and Process management
- Manage the board-line, Calcining plant and VAP plant regarding efficiency, process and scheduling to production
- Define and propose to plant manager corrective action plans to improve overall efficiency of production
- Decide which adjustments and modification are necessary in process management to optimize the performance and the quality of the products
- Operate production line in accordance with the quality system to exceed the requirements
- Specifically to ensure that PB and VAP product manufacturing will produce product with quality and delivery service satisfies customer’s requirements.
- Ensure all finished product meets/exceed quality standards through the establishment of internal quality standards, training of employees, optimal operation of equipment, and continuously monitoring of quality.
- Assist in quality improvement projects.
- Quickly and properly resolve unstable status found in production line which may lead to a quality issues or machine damages.
• Cost Management
- Meet budget objectives for variable cost and continually seek areas to reduce costs
- Prepare and Submit production budgets
• Organization and Resources management
- Monitor overtime and contain within budget limitations.
- Optimize and manage the head count of production shifts
- Monitor Daily administration of production shop floors and subcontractors
- Promote the quality of work and motivate his team, develop shop floors skills
- Supervise production shop floors’ and subcontractors’ discipline
• Planning and Scheduling
- Proper prepare the production plan as per production master schedule issued by planning to satisfy customer delivery requirement
- Report to Plant Manager
- Production plan and actual achievement ( Daily/Weekly/Monthly)
- Production performance in term of cost, quality and delivery
- Innovation project status
- Report any unsafe behaviors of employees or equipment and machinery with corrective actions.
- Daily review the quality, result with Quality and maintenance team.
- Be a highly visible and effective link among the manufacturing, maintenance, quality and other departments.
- Closely coordinate with Maintenance team for proper doing maintenance planning
- Motivate the operator to work for Company common goals.
- Monthly review team members’ performances to implement proper performance management process (PMP) for production members.
- Continuously share quality information with other plant Production Managers for process improvement.(frequently)
- Undertake other tasks as delegated or assigned by Plant Manager.
