Report to Head of Global Logistics
1 JOB SUMMARY
• Oversees logistic costs, negotiates with carriers, drives improvement projects, find the right trade off inventory holding costs with transportation lead times and costs, collaborate with logistics service providers for joint value.
• Actively works with Global Customer Order Management group to properly arrange logistics activities for big deals and with Global Planning to optimize logistic costs.
• Provides international Trade compliance expertise to to meet International regulatory requirements for import, export, and customs issues.
• Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize the highest level of service to internal and external customers.
2 SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 Core Responsibilities
• Maintains metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Provides support and guidance in the development of the Company's trade compliance strategy, policy, programs, tools and related projects to ensure compliance with import/export laws and regulations.
• Ensures all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborates with Global Logistics team to ensure best practices are identified and implemented according to goals.
• Ensure continuous improvement in quality and cost-effectiveness of Company logistics and related activities in APAC, including standardizing carriers and customs brokers
• Continuously improve cost of global freight and document savings year to year.

3 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, or other related discipline; preferred master in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
• Five years of experiences in Logistics and International trade management in an international environment
• Fluent English
• Three years SAP/ERP experience
4 TARGET REQUIREMENTS
• Extensive knowledge of HTS classifications, binding rulings and trade compliance.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.
• Extensive experience in rate negotiations, primarily air and parcel carriers.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills to develop and mentor personnel.
