Report to: Plant Manager
• Stock and Space Control
- Setup layout & space management in coordination with planning team to maximize storage.
- Manage physical stock control to avoid lost, missing and damaged.
- Issue Inventory report, IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, goods age report, consumption report, manpower status report to Plant Director. Also make sure the reports on time, accurate and updated to Supply Chain to support balance demand & supply and logistics control. For this area, consider SC as an internal customer in supplying information and data.
- Follow up ERP program against with actual activities.
• Safety
- Always promote health and safety in the workplace.
- To display excellent personal safety and challenge others when see unsafe behavior.
- Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
- Enforces warehouse good housekeeping according to company policies and 5S housekeeping program.
- Enforces respect of all Boral and Vietnamese environmental regulations.
• Organizational Resources
- Organize all activities & assign jobs accordingly for staff. Make plans to develop staffs of warehouse by internal/on-job training.
- Set up work organization chart; procedures such as SOP, 5S.
- Planning, organizing and controlling of Warehouse’ over-all operations.
- Constantly plan out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets.
- Follow up & control daily absence and over time. Audit of daily labor and billing reports.
- Implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities.
- Creation of daily work logs and transmission of same to corporate.
- Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse administration. Enhance subordinates’ well being and capability through training and give opportunities for promotion.
• Order processing
- Works in conjunction with various parties such as business development, sales and customer service to handle complaints and ensure support plans are in place to maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Coordinate well with Logistics and Customer Service in root cause analysis and problem resolution for all logistics operations to ensure 4R: right quality, right quantity, right time and right products.
- Manage strategically loading capacity to maximize orders delivered. Continue daly updated loading capacity to Customer Service and Logistics to arrange customers’ orders.
- Serve as liaison with all internal and external partners for daily operational activities.
- Track, analyze and communicate key performance metrics.
• R&D Project
- Improvement & development of warehouse capacity’s storage and loading/unloading.
- Always research to improve all warehouse operations according to company’s objectives.
- Prepares and recommends operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary.
And others
• Bachelor degree in Business, engineering or related field.
• More than 3 years of operational Logistics & Warehouse experience in a large organization, exposure to international companies.
• Strong analytical abilities, problem solving.
• Good communication, Team building skills (active listening, convincing, negotiation) and English.
• Detail oriented & Extreme accuracy.
• Ability to lead cross-functionally.
• Strong customer focus.
