Reports to: Sales Director – Specification and Project Sales • Engage and consult Full System/solution Proposals for Developers, Specifiers (Architects, Consultants, QS, etc) to apply to their projects that are under Designing Stage. • Convince General Constructors to use products/solutions in the Tender Document (under Construction Stage for Design and Build). • Follow up and work with Project Sales to hand over the specified projects at Main Cons, Sub Cons stage to deliver and secure spec and volume • Train Specifiers to understand about drywall systems in order to divert traditional brick wall to innovation drywall. • Update the Tracking Data Base in project pipeline (Sales Force tool) with detailed status, specifier profiles including developers, architects, consultants, Quality Surveyors • Conduct seminars/call visit to run and sell system/service to developers and specifiers • Build close network with specifiers community • Ensure at least 50% projects in the pipeline to be specified
• Architect or Interior Designer or Civil Engineer (preferable with additional commercial degree or experience) • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills • Highly organized, strong sense of identifying and prioritizing issues • Highly self-motivated. Able to communicate enthusiasm and inspire • Broad overview of technical and building materials knowledge • Good analytical skills • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure condition • Be initiative, pro-active, result-oriented • computer skills - MS Office, CAD drawing • Good in English (written and oral) • Smart, mature attitude – able to represent company externally • Quick conceptual thinker – able to grasp ideas and communicate them effectively • Willing and able to accept a significant degree of responsibility • Good interpersonal relationship skills, • Self-confident – challenges ideas and norms Experience • 3-5 years specification pre-sales experience in construction materials • Exposure to international companies Key Interfaces • Sales: closely work with Project Sales to update and hand over and secure specified projects and volume • Marketing: work with Category Managers to ensure new and innovative products/system to be used and specified, work with Technical Manager to ensure right docs and right technical advice to be provided • At a certain level, interact with Pre-sales team, Technical Support in corporate head office in Kuala Lumpur or in Bangkok to get advice and go the right direction of specification KPIs • South volume of board, metal, mineral fiber, metal ceiling tile • Spec rate 50% • Other relevant KPIs: innovative products sales, wall penetration, etc
