Report to: Marketing Manager/ Acting Managing Director/ Managing Director/ Director
The Market Development Manager will play a key role in the future direction of the Company and development of strategies, work independently and report to AMD and MD.
Development Functions
• To develop the 8 regions of the company.
• Evaluate prices, distribution channels, and marketing outlets
• Meet with farmers, C1s, C2s and sub PPD to obtain market data from each region.
• Create questionnaires and surveys
• Create reports that analyze competition and customers
• Offer insights about product potentials.
• Identification of best prospects in targeted segments
• Supervision and conducting of marketing activities, such as farmer meetings, demo fields. Ensuring activities are properly executed, meeting targets and achieving results
• Collection of market data related to business objectives
• Preparation of monthly report to AMD, MD and Director
Survey functions
• Focus on growing existing accounts and expanding new dealers in each region.
• Assess customer's needs
• Develop sales strategies in tandem with sales department.
• Collaborate with the regional sales to build strategic plans to identify and close selling opportunities at dealers and farmers
• Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust sales strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
• Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
• Direct research in market intelligence and business development
• Clear targets and timeline for each project.
• Look after corporate interests at all times and contribute towards corporate developments and address issues across departments for problem solving.
• The Market Development Manager will play a key role in the future direction of the Company and development of strategies, work independently and report to AMD and MD.
Research & Development funtions
• Develop new market segments, new target group for all 8 regions.
• Work with R&D on new registrations and product development
• Good knowledge on the Collective Labour Agreement, company regulations and maintain secrecy on issues related
Other duties
• Weekly and monthly reporting
• As required by TOM
• Other tasks as assigned by Superior and Board of Management
• Asking and requesting the company to supply and to support opportunities and condition to achieve the best performance
• Communicate and make suggestions to the board of managers and other departments in the company to get necessary information, necessary facilities, working conditions to achieve the best performance
• Internal relationship: to all staff in all the departments
• External relationship: to all dealers, sub-dealers, and related organizations
