Reports to: Country Manager
• New supplier research in Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, Binh Dinh
• Supplier research and proposed product development strategy
• Accountable for move/new product PPR and product launching coordination, worked with the quality/engineering team in South Vietnam
• Direct involvement in price discussions and price negotiation
• Researching and reporting back on competitor research in the area
• The Development Specialist is responsible for all of the above for the offices he/she is in and vendors he/she visits and has a relationship with.
Working Experience:
• At least 02 years working experience in the same position or equivalent
• Familiar with US furniture preferred
Skills & Abilities:
• Good communication skill in English required. Additional languages preferred.
• Can work independently, is trustworthy, motivated, team spirited, and responsible.
• Shows initiative to complete tasks and support even if outside normal job description.
• Proficient in MS Office, Email, Photography, Presentations and other computer skills.

Physical Requirements: • Ability to handle various environments including Factory, Showrooms, Offices, planes etc.

• Frequently stands and walks/moves to different locations as needed
• Domestic travel
• International travel (extended hours on airplane)
Working Conditions:
• Factory, showrooms, offices
• Flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary
• Transportation environment- cars, planes etc.
• Travel long and short distance frequently.
• Overnight stays at hotels required during scheduled trips.
