Report to: Business Head Vietnam, and functionally to HR Manager SEA
• HR interface for gamut of HR deliverables for all employees hired under Vietnam, absorption and confirmation, induction and performance appraisal with active involvement with Line Managers.
• Liaising and coordination with institutes, universities, hiring consultants regarding brand building, conducting campus recruitments, project training, seminars and position as a preferred employer among people aiming to grow their career in heavy and metal industries.
• Accountable for mapping training needs identification, conceptualizing and implementing customized technical and non-technical training initiatives for all employees in coordination with management.
• Responsible for other HR and Personnel Administration programs like payroll and benefits, performance management, employee database management HR actions related to employee life cycle, statutory and legal actions, etc.
• Responsible for detailed review and implementation of HR policies related to employment, transfer, leave, overtime, holidays and other service conditions in accordance with the best practices prevalent in Vietnam and in line with South Asia regional guidelines.
• Establish effective communication channels for handling timely redressal of grievances, resolving of HR and employment issues.
• Drive various employee friendly activities to ensure increased motivation, morale and “we feeling” among all employees of Vietnam team.
• Responsible for ensuring compliances as per statutory calendar and bridge gaps, enforcement of disciplinary action as and when required and maintain liaison with govt. and non govt. bodies for organizational benefit.
• Provide HR leadership initiatives to the Vietnam team and guidance to subordinates to achieve identified goals and excellence in people, process and performance as a team.
• Manage the HR & administrative activities of the overall organization so that HR process, administrative procedure and equipment, supplies, other resources are used effectively and efficiently.
• Support other functional activities as and when required such as liaising related to IT, HSE, employee health programs, events and general administration, etc.
Qualifications:
• University graduation and diploma/ certification in HR and Administration.
• Accounting qualification in graduation would be preferable
• Professional training in HR would be an advantage.
Experience:
• Around 7-10 years’ experience in HR & Administration.
Knowledge:
• Knowledge in HR and Administration, Labor Law and Regulation.
• Proficiency in English & Vietnamese. Understanding of Chinese is desirable.
