Leads the Internal Audit function including operational and financial audit. Provides reports and recommendations for management decision making. Responsible for conducting periodic reviews on activities related to the Malaysian Group of companies, to provide assurance to Management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors that established policies and procedures from the conduct of business are properly applied. The employee also performs special reviews as requested by senior management and ensuring that all Company Audit activities are conducted in compliance with Company policies and objectives adhering to the Code of Ethics and Standards for Professional Practice of Internal Auditing as promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors. The scopes of work are:- • Develop and execute audit assignments per approved audit schedule • Conduct risk assessment and advise management on potential risk exposure and mitigating measures • Proactive management of significant control issues or business risk exposure • Review current operating processes and business activities • Ensure adherence to Companys regulations and operating mandates • Safeguard Company's assets • Liaise and coordinates with external auditors and be the point person during external audit and corporate audit • Manage and coordinate ad-hoc projects ie Merger & Acquisition • Sarbanes-Oxley compliance coordinator
• Possess a minimum of 10 years of Commercial Finance operation experience • Possess accounting qualificationsuch as CPA/ACCA • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and SAP. • Demonstrates achievement orientation and has a positive attitude. • Possess drive, passion, determination and strong follow through attitude to achieve business objectives & accomplishments. • Enthusiastic, flexible and able to work under pressure with analytical and problem solving skills. • Team orientation- a team player and greatly value team work. • Demonstrates strong leadership, accountability and take ownership and pride in their work. • Demonstrates initiative in their work in the spirit of continuous improvement to drive efficiency and effectiveness in everything they do.
