Job’s purpose:
•    To ensure the implementation, integrity and continual improvement of the BVCPS Quality System in terms of ISO 17025 system, and that processes and procedures meet or exceed client requirements and company objectives, for Vietnam testing operations.
Main Responsibilities
1. Quality system:
•    Take the responsibilities of location quality representative.
•    Facilitate problem resolution, as applicable, for any client issues identified, highlighted or questions with the aim of enhancing client satisfaction and improving client relations.
•    Implement, maintain and improve the Operations’ quality system compliant with BVCPS Quality Manual and appropriate standards.
•    Partner with testing labs and client groups to ensure that all work is done according to specified protocols, methods, regulations and standards, and that errors are addressed appropriately with corrective actions as necessary.
•    Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to, including the maintenance of training, calibration, and testing.
•    Coordinate in developing and maintaining job descriptions and skills, knowledge and training requirements, assessment tools, and training plans as needed to provide a consistent, accurate report to our clients.
•    Conduct and manage internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the quality system, identify weaknesses, open corrective/preventive actions, and review effectiveness of actions taken.
•    Manage to conduct all quality reports as required by HQ in timely manner.
•    Train all personnel on BVCPS VN quality requirements and other applicable quality initiatives.
•    Keep current with regulations, accreditations, certifications and registrations pertaining to assigned departments, Facilitate scope expansion with regulating/certifying bodies
•    Represent BV for external audits, Divisional Audit and Full Audit scheduled by HQ, and any other external audits applied to BV VN.
•    Manage Correlation Process.
•    Train or assist employees in utilization of quality tools to drive continuous improvement activities.
•    Facilitate the management review process and continuous improvement process
•    Work with Managers and operational staff to ensure that processes are carried out in accordance to customer requirements.
•    Define in resolution of client complaints as required, manage customer’s complaint process.
•    Point of contact for Global Quality Processes and improvements.
2. Training system:
•    Coordinate with department managers to implement the training need analysis, propose the annual training plan base on these results.
•    Internal training: following the HQ requirements.
•    External training: ensure the process is taking place.
•    Provide the training, seminars to customers as required by upper management.
•    Oversee the personal training records system.
3. Equipment system:
•    Implement the frequent check to ensure that the equipments are maintained and calibrated in accordance to the schedule.
•    Maintain, perform assessment and update the list of approved suppliers and subcontractors as required in appropriate procedures.
•    Continuously improvement of processes from equipment purchasing, storage, calibration, maintenance, equipment breakdown, etc.
4. Health, Safety & Environmental:
•    Oversee and implement necessary actions to ensure the company is followed the current HSE regulations, standards.
•    Implement the frequent check to ensure that the employees are working under a safety environment such as using appropriate safety tools, fire preventive system is in good operation conditions, etc.
•    Train, disseminate related HSE information to all employees where required or deem necessary.
•    Manage to provide the HSE reports as required by HQ in timely manner.
5. Other suitable duties as assigned by General Manager / Asst. General Manager.

•    University or above
•    Masters degree in Quality and/or Six Sigma preferred
•    Trained and Certified including but not limited to: ISO 17025:2005; Internal Auditor;
•    Train the Trainer; Measuring Uncertainty; Equipment Calibration, etc.
•    Having at least 5 years working experiences in Laboratory at managerial level.
•    10 years quality system experience, with 5 years supervisory experience
•    4 year Engineering or Quality degree (or CQE/CQM or demonstrated experience)
•    Demonstrated experience with customer interface and auditing to ISO standards preferred
•    Experience with Facilitating & Participating Audit process
•    Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and equipment
•    Expert knowledge of Quality Assurance concepts, processes and systems and the demonstrated ability to implement them
•    Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills – including the ability to deliver presentations / training to internal and external groups
•    Excellent organizational skills to organize / prioritize individual and team workload to meet or exceed deadlines
•    Strong analytical / problem solving / process improvement skills
•    Strong leadership skills to influence diverse testing areas and staff
•    Client interaction skills; ability to work with customers, determine their requirements, define and assist in solving problems and ensure customer satisfaction with BVCPS
•    Strong math skills and working knowledge of statistical procedures
•    Medium to high level of proficiency in MS office
•    Ability to juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a very busy environment
•    Ability to lead groups of diverse people through the problem solving process
•    Ability to interpret regulations and standards
•    Technical aptitude – the ability to assimilate and assess new information and develop plans to capitalize or react to it
