JOB SUMMARY • Ensure products meet quality standards and packing process meet production schedule. Continuously work to improve packing processes and inspection skills. Manage all QC inspectors and packing within an assigned facility in such a manner that fosters teamwork while increasing productivity and efficiency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Direct activities of QC and packing to meet production schedule and products quality. • Manage labor, attendance time, work discipline. • Manage material flow (semi-finish in/out of packing area, finished products). • Drive cut, sew and packing quality. • Assessment and appraisal of all subordinates. • Reduce customer complain. Liaise with customers to communicate on quality issues. • Manage the Laboratory and Standards • Improve the performance of all divisions of QC department. • Monitor rework, analyze reasons and implement actions to reduce rework. • Quality statistics analysis, quality measurements analysis, implement action plans to improve quality • Provide training to production and quality departments to improve quality performance • Provide feedback to Purchasing and Development functions regarding vendor quality, participate in vendor quality assessment • Lead total quality initiatives in the Company. • Other related tasks as assigned by the General Director SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY • Direct the activities of QC team and packing team and fully utilize the support of all departments to meet QC department objectives. Responsible for manufacturing high quality products on time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. Education • Required –Bachelor degree and above. 2. Experience • 5-10 years experience in managing a manufacturing or QC department • Familiar with fabric and leather cut & sew operations. 3. Knowledge of: • Quality tools. • ISO system • Lean Manufacturing Concepts • Theory of Organization Behavior • Statistical Process Control • 6 Sigma 4. Skills and Abilities • Excellent organizational skills • Excellent decision-making and follow-through skills • Ability to communicate with all organizational levels • Skilled in conflict management and resolution • Skilled in prioritizing multiple directives within changing work demands • Skilled in problem solving • Skilled in computer software such as Excel, Word, PP and EMAIL • Fluent with both oral and written English
