Our client is a beverage firm that provides a wide rage of products for local tastes.
Report to: Financial Reporting Manager Role: Assist Finance Manager in performing accounting operations in HO. Accountabilities • Register the new purchase, addition of Fixed Asset (classification, coding,…) in Oracle system - FA module. • Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures and forms for the recordation of fixed assets. • Recommend to FM any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets. • Update the disposal, location transfer of Fixed Asset in Oracle system. • Support the approval process of Fixed Asset Disposal/ Transfer Requests from all location. • Coordinate with fixed asset accountants, project accountants in locations, planning officers, project owners in daily issues. • Follow up the payment status of Fixed Asset purchase. • Reconciliation of FAPUR preparation file, Capex tracking file and G/L of fixed asset GBV movement. • Reconcile the balance of Fixed asset Register (sub-ledger) and B/S (ledger) before sending FAR file to locations. • Coordinate KIA truck incentive report from locations, make the appropriate journal entry based on KIA truck accounting treatment, make the KIA truck program report. • Do the MEM reconciliation between Oracle and PS&D system. Make MEM reconciliation report. • Carry out AP confirmation for Capex suppliers • Make Idle Asset report and Capex accrual report in coordination with fixed asset accountants. • Investigate the potential obsolescence of fixed assets. • Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets. • Recommend whether fixed assets should be disposed of. • Conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management. • Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets and assist the auditors in their inquiries. • Ad hoc exercises as required
• University graduation with major in Finance • Specialized in Finance and Accounting qualification • At least 3 year experiences in accounting. Experience in general accountant is preferred. • Being able to provide valid advices on company processes in both risk control and efficiency perspectives • Good experience in managing and using accounting software such as Oracle, SAP • Good understanding of international accounting standards, GAAP • Good English communication skills • Good computer skills in MS Office • Proven leadership capability either potentially or in actual past deliveries
