JOB SUMMARY • Takes care all product engineering & process Continuous Improvement for PU Component & Turning Wood Department ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Train, manage & coach Product Engineering, Packing & Costing Team • Train, manage & review cost for new product costing • Train, manage & review packing engineering • Train & manage carving team • Develop & control transferred item or NEW GO R&D plan • Manage/ gather/ draw PU component & turning wood item drawing • Work with Production to have white body & color sample • Communicate with US to have white body & color sample approval • Support Production about engineering for turning wood & PU component mass production • Review turning wood & PU component operation to control initial planned cost • Work with sourcing team to have good material for turning wood operation • Work with Production & PIC to plan for new group pulling in order to fill in Wanek capacity • Support team & Production to solve production issue • Process continuous improvement for Turning Wood & PU Component Department • Process other assignments by IE Manager SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY • In charge of whole Turning Wood & PU Component Department engineering
1. Education • Required – Turning wood & PU component engineering education or training 2. Experience • More than 4 year experience at turning wood & PU component engineering field • Experience at supervisor level at least 3 years • Expert user of AutoCad • Continuous improvement experience with Lean tool implementation 3. Knowledge of: • Turning wood & PU component engineering • Lean thinking, lean manufacturing • Theory of constraints • Statistical process control • Budgeting and cost control 4. Skills and Abilities • Work Hands-on • Results oriented • Highly capable of identifying problems and solving problems. • Very proactive and energetic. • Systematic, methodical, detailed, thorough, transparent. • Good at Written and Spoken English • Positive, enthusiastic, creative, embrace changes, performs under pressure • Work well in a team-based environment.
