• Prepare Strategic Plan (Strategic Review) on the annual basis, with the market and industry analysis, SWOT analysis, identify possible strategies and make recommendation. • Prepare and implement the vision and the strategy of the business in Vietnam in line with the Lafarge Group standards and strategy. • Manage and develop the long-term relationship with the key and potential partners and stakeholders (government, shareholders, etc.) • Manage the M&A activity: target screening, valuation, negotiation, financing, legal framework. • Prepare the long-term market attractiveness analysis: supply-demand balance, delivered cost analysis, competitiveness, macro-economic tendency and government policy to elaborate the short-term and long-term strategy in Vietnam • Identify zones of potential growth within the existing range of products. • Look for external opportunities of growth to complement current portfolio, explore synergies and Cement / A&C or other targets. • Identify and analyze possible strategic alliances, local acquisitions and opportunities for licensing-in in close coordination with other functions. • Negotiate the appropriate contracts and agreements with potential and existing partners. • Monitor the implementation of existing shareholding contracts and intervenes as necessary to assure that Lafarge’s rights and obligations are fulfilled.
• University Degree, preferably in Economics, Finance or Engineering. MBA a strong plus • > 5 years work experience • Project management / Change management record • Successful project implementation record • Experience in Vietnam • Experience outside of Vietnam or with a multinational company/bank is a plus • Strong analytical skills • Teamworking in transversal teams • Project management • Result achieving in difficult environment • English: fluent • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to influence, to manage, and drive change within the organization
