REPORT TO: HEAD OF PERFORMANCE MATERIALS
1. Strategic Tasks
• Marketing Approach Strategy: develop, implement and update the local MAS in line with APA 2025 Strategy (coherent Farmers, Influencers & Distribution Approach and appropriate partnerships);
• Actively participate in regional crop teams and implement agreed measures;
• Project Management: initiate, develop and implement new business projects in line with 10 year FC and market opportunity, ensure proper update data inputs in relevant system, responsible for in- and out licensing activities with 3rd party (if any).
2. Operational Tasks
• Implement Marketing Activities to support the Sales: co-develop Sales conditions, Pricing strategies and Marketing Activities. Plan, develop, execute and monitor product and customer support activities (presentation, printing materials, PR, etc.);
• Market intelligence: Conducts market researches, analysis on trends, competitors, farmers’ needs/concerns and product’s application to identify business opportunities and provides inputs for product development; ensure proper update data inputs;
• Co-develop sale & marketing budget for next year: challenge sale budget (article x volume x price), and develop marketing cost budget (personnel, promotion and advertisement) next year;
• Business Excellence: steer the local business in line with the APA 2025 goals and annual budget (agreed portfolio management, facilitate 24 month rolling Forecast, implement Standard Operating Procedure, e.g. Pricing management).
3. People, Processes and Compliance Tasks
• Provide leadership to marketing team: ensure and develop proper individual and team skill in the team by participating in employee recruitment, training and development, disciplinary and grievance resolve in consultation with Human Resources;
• Compliance, IPR & Product Stewardship: ensure compliant business practices.
• Background: University Degree in Agriculture / Business Administration / Marketing or related field;
• Technical & Professional knowledge:
- Good command in both speak and written English
- Strategic thinking with high level of technical marketing skill / know-how
- Good knowledge of crop protection market
- Good analytical and problem solving skills are the must
Working experience:
- Minimum five years experiences in sale or marketing in agriculture, FMCG or relevant industries
- At least three years’ experience in personnel management
- Excellent customer relationships and customer focus
- Deep understanding of the Value Chains in Agriculture
