Job Purpose:
•    Responsible for the development, implementation and execution of strategic and operational plans that optimize sales, market share and revenue growth for a brand or a set of brands in the short and long term.   Includes the launching of new products.

Accountabilities:
•    Interacts with all customer groups to make market observations, and identifies poten-tial insights and market access issues. Segments customer groups by agreed criteria.
•    Lead market research activities, using basic tools and sources.
•    Identifies suitable forecast analogues.
•    Identifies potential key tactical options within each component of the marketing mix.
•    Optimizes channel/promotional mix for individual brand through appropriate resource allocation that meets brand objectives and customer needs.
•    Creates and delivers strategic and operational plans appropriate to life cycle of brand to optimize return.
•    Leads development and delivery of key promotional campaign from insights to review, production and implementation.
•    Manages brand finance and budgets, including appropriate management of brand resources.
•    Drives consistent execution of product strategy using appropriate KPIs.
•    Manages effective agency partnerships.
•    Monitors business performance and external environment via appropriate tools and takes corrective action as required to meet business objectives.
•    Acts as brand champion to create focus and enthusiasm both internally and with ex-ternal customers and agencies.

KPI:
•    Sales vs forecast
•    Market share and market share growth
•    Quality of input into the pre-launch, launch process and post-marketing surveillance
•    Quality of marketing strategies and timeliness of implementation of marketing activi-ties
•    Quality of deliverables
