1. HSE • Plan, monitor and follow-up the Safety & Health improvement action plans • Ensure sub-contractors compliance to company Safety and Health Policies • Industrial local legal compliance as well as company standards and implementation roadmap roll-out • Drive implementation of corrective action plans (data collection, benchmarking, gap analysis, action plans) 2. Quality • Set up the quality check for production process to ensure good product sold out. • Solve “production related” claims thanks to a thorough analysis and keep history of those to ensure non-recurrence and/ or quick corrective action if recurrence 3. Relationship • Work effectively with internal functions like SC, North Sales and Finance to supply the best services to customers. • Communicate effectively with North customers when needed. 4. Policies and procedures • Responsible for developing and implementing plans related policies; training and coaching around them for all North staffs, ensuring compliance while regularly – revisiting the said policies and procedures. • Act and be an agent for change and a role-model for business process re-engineering. 5. Manufacturing • Overall Production: daily production & planning, production efficiency( cost, volume); maintenance; trial tests. • To be a project team member to define with commercial team the specifications of the new product 6. Information and intelligence • Local networking • Set-up a system to track, organize and analyze; prepare any form of communication action and plan in crisis situation(s) • Ensure timely reporting and information to the business 7. Management cycles • Develop and propose assumptions for Budget and Quarterly updates • Ensuring the daily & weekly performance review • Lead the Monthly Performance Review and validating the Gold data 8. Finance • Inventory Management • Inventory control (stock take organization, accuracy of results, segregation of duty and avoidance of conflict of interests) • Slow moving items and obsolete moving items monitoring for action proposal to management as well as overall control • Cost Control • Variable costs: recipe, computation and analysis • Fixed costs: expenditure level, allocation and variance analysis 9. Team management • Identify recruitment(s) and change(s) needed within the team • Lead Plant team members recruitment process • Together with Human Resources: define training needs and implement those training • Ensure succession planning is in place • Ensure team is professional and accountable with robust business ethics • Individuals are motivated and excel at team work all across the company • Employees relations and in particular the Labor Union, for which HR Department’s help and guidance will be sourced as and when necessary; particularly in crisis situations • Plant HR organization; all manning matters and in particular: Leave/ shift planning/ OT Management/ Disciplinary actions/ Sub-contractor management • HR related Management cycle: Appraisal/ Objectives & KPIs setting while ensuring KPI alignment all across the organization • Internal Communication: With the support and guidance of HR Department
• Bachelor degree minimum. MBA or engineering background is preferred • Operation Management experience • Minimum 3- or 5- year experience in steel or construction industry. • Good organizational and management skills • Good command at MS Office ( Word, Excel, Power Point) • English fluency in both of written & spoken
