MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Staff • To motivate, train and lead sales staff ensuring that all team members exceed their sales budgets. • To conduct regular sales meetings to ensure maximizing effectiveness – efficiency of all team members. Customers • To take direct and pro active involvement in driving top line business e.g. Customer, Product & Projects, so as to ensure fulfillment of customer business plans and targets. • To establish sufficient market (competitor/customer/product) knowledge thereby being capable of enhancing the concept of “solution’ selling as well as development of key customer business plans and targets. • To develop new customers by promoting the company and its products, to non-users. • To ensure customer AB retention/development through regular visits and entertainment when applicable. • To attend to and follow–up on customer’s requests and complaints in a professional and promptly manner. • To support and drive business thru “Business Management Systems” as outlined by company guidelines. Principals • To develop and maintain favorable relationships with all existing as well as new potential principals. • To develop and implement market/business plans with/for key principals, aligning strategy and business approach as well as ensuring both organic and in particular new business growth. • To advise principals of market developments and competitors’ activities both by email and during visits. • To conduct market research and prepare market reports as and when required by principals to enable formulation of effective marketing strategy. • To co-ordinate principals’ visits, arrange appointments with customers, develop and follow-up action points. • To advise on sales forecasting with the objective of securing having a sufficient product supply. Working Capital Management • Monitor and improve working capital management thru direct/personally involvement. In case of medium-high business risk direct supervisor should be informed so that arbitration can be considered. Main Challenges • To continuously seek and propose improvement of and/or within the internal & external process, so as to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. • To establish and continuously improve product & market knowledge, so as to be more efficient. • To get the company brand name recognized as the major and leading ingredients & raw material supplier in Vietnam within agreed target accounts and core business areas. • To establish solid communication and co-ordination with all principals providing a good base for further strengthening our business relationships and to support future business development. SECONDARY FUNCTION • Participating Member of the ISO committee • Participating Member of company EAT team groups AUTHORITY • The job holder is authorized to independently take decisions and set market selling prices, strategies etc. within the limit of the agreed budget and strategic plan prepared along with and/or for the principals. • Further, as laid out by company policies & guidelines. • No authorization hiring or firing staff. • Dimension (Indicate the significant numerical data that is applicable to the position.
