• Assist Plant Manager to build up and drive the implementation of OHS Management system across plant. • Perform daily GEMBA walks, safety patrols and conduct the required safety conversation when applicable. Regularly join pre-shift meetings of Production Board line and Associate Metal Production to provide updated safety information and good safety practice advices. • Conduct the safety training for new comers, contractors and visitors. • Define the appropriate safety training program; establish the safety training courses, conduct, monitoring them to develop safety awareness, knowledge and skills for all plant personnel. • Regularly monitoring the legal compliance for the plant (Control the documents of Fire fighting system, safety of equipments and Environmental Protection system). • Monthly review and update risk assessment with owner’s areas. • Collect safety data, monthly compile, analyze H&S performance indicators and send report to Plant Manager and Divisional Safety Manager. • Cooperate with Maintenance team to do risk assessment, prepare work permit, safety training, supervision for contractors before and during Maintenance days. • Support Plant Manager to build relationship directly with the stakeholders. • Organize the monthly SHECOM meeting, Safety Month activities (if any). • Liaise with relevant local authorities on Health and Safety related matters and propose adjustments when there is evolution of local H&S legislation. • Update safety information (MTI, LTIs, Near misses, FA…) and delivery the safety messages to staffs in the plant. • Support line Managers (or Supervisors) to perform incident investigation and ensure that all LTI and serious near misses are fully investigated, closed out and communicated properly to relevant parties. • Ensure that all applicable Safety and Environmental Alerts are distributed with proper followed up to prevent similar incidents to occur. • Support Maintenance and Supply Chain functions with the H&S specifications for the design and installation of new / modified facility and equipment. Monitor to ensure that these specifications are used during implementation. • Support Plant Manager to ensure that security level in the site is strictly maintained at all times to manage loss control and provide a secure working environment.
• University degree • Strong demonstrable experience of EHS management in manufacturing environment. • Professional with MS Office. • Excellent communication skills both in English and Vietnamese, being confident to listen, work with and influence people at all levels. • Credible, professional and effective at all times. • Strong organizational skills, be able to collect and manage data effectively. • Has the drive and presence to “make things happen” • A team player who is outgoing and personable.
