Report to: Carrier Management Assistant Manager Key Responsibilities: • Maintain good relationship with existing clients and develop new clients – new business to increase sales volume (airfreight) • Build up and drive relationship with airlines on the daily basis to ensure price and service level. • Develop the company’s reputation in the market, ensure the company’s rates are competitive in the market. • Ensure that sales and customers’ rate requests are fulfilled timely as per given deadline. • Maintain & monitor buying rate database without additional cost affected to a shipment caused by mis-update of the rate and surcharges • Execute airlines strategy by managing allocation between airlines • Report monthly on market update, competition, rate changes, sellable prices and volume delivered to Airfreight Manager & commercial team • Arrange Credit Agreement with core airlines and customers • Support Customer Service to deal with airlines and suppliers for smooth operations • Support other branches on budget delivering • Keep updated to knowledge of freight forwarding
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields • Passionate about logistics • Knowledgeable about international forwarding and domestic logistics business derivers • Ability to build up and maintain relationship with customers • Good communication skills • Well problem solving skills • Good time management. • Assertive • Pro-active, self-motivated • Flexible and reliable • Numerate
