Job purpose: • The Legal Counsel is responsible for leading and planning all regulatory and legal-related affairs of contracts, registration process and ad-hoc issues to ensure the smooth and responsive business operations via legal regulation compliance of requirements from internal and external parties. Responsibilities: • Advise on the appropriate legal procedures to change the company name, scope of business... • Manage the company’s corporate secretarial matters including drafting, review, negotiating of sales, commercial and other contracts or documents. • Manage & implement policies for legal and regulatory related risks • Manage the company’s contract management and debt recovery enforcement processes • Build & update legal and regulatory related training programs for management and staff • Manage & give guidance to external counsel on debt recovery and ad-hoc contentious and general advisory matters • Involve in the discussion with the related governments and maintain relationship with authorities and government agencies for support and positive response when being challenged.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Vietnam Bar is preferred • Minimum 6 years experience in practice or in-house, experience in contentious or dispute resolution work is preferred. • Strong foundation in general commercial and contract law. • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people of all levels • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills • Independent, resourceful, proactive and ability to multi-task • Good command of English and Vietnamese (spoken and written)
