Our client is a testing, inspection and certificate provider based in Europe.

 

Report to: GTS IFA Technical Manager (and Regional Manager)

Brief overview on scope of job responsibility:
•    Draft and maintain technical documents (Inspection protocol / method, training material, Question paper, etc.);
•    Provide technical training and assessment for internal staff or client;
•    Provide technical support to inspection operation team, BD, CRM and PM;
•    Handle key client technical issue such as IFI, operation summary & technical discussion with client etc.

Other key functional or communication lines:
•    Work with BD/PM/CRM to document the client requirements and answer the technical enquiry;
•    Work with QA to document BV technical SOP / WI and follow up internal audit;
•    Work with Integrity Department to provide technical judgment for questioned subordinates related to bribery issue and do mystery inspection when request;
•    Work with Operation teams to well understand the training needs to provide training and evaluate training effectiveness;
•    Work with TC to provide technical support for new business development and modify into regular service.

Key roles, functions & accountabilities:
General Requirement:

•    Collect industry standard, law, regulation and related information about consumer products;
•    Draft and maintain the technical documents such as SOP, WI, inspection protocol / method, training material, question paper etc.;
•    Review client’s technical requirement or change request, and then prepare or maintain the related technical documents for client when necessary via PSU or TCMP process. These technical documents includes but not limited, client protocol, IFI and training material etc.;
•    Review inspector performance to prepare annually correlation examination material upon product categories and implementation;
•    Draft and maintain inspector qualification criteria;
•    Prepare training plan for inspector’s competence qualification;
•    Provide training course for internal staff and clients;
•    Provide on site assessment or on site training for inspectors;
•    Do mystery inspection appointed by Integrity department;
•    Develop exam questions for E-paper;
•    Review and score question paper;
•    Develop, organize, provide and review Correlation Test to inspectors;
•    Review and score question paper;
•    Answer technical enquiry from internal staff or client by INQ process;
•    Attend TTT course training and acquire the qualified certificate. Upgrading in annual renewal;
•    Delegated job from assistant technical manager or above.
For Supply Chain Solution Chief Trainer:
•    Provide technical support to Supply Chain Solution project;
•    Develop proposals to factory evaluation regarding to best quality control;
•    Provide skill or knowledge training to inspector or provide on site training to Supply Chain Solution inspector;
•    Handle the technical inquiry about Supply Chain Solution.
For Asia Chief Trainer (Out of China):
•    
Help to archive the regional inspectors individual training plan, summery and training record;
•    Provide on site training or supervision to local OO;
•    Perform CTC and Mystery visits as per assigned by management to focus on operation view rather than integrity performance;
•    Delegated job from Asia regional OO manager.

Qualifications:    
•    Certificate from college or above and major in engineering or science;
•    Fluent in both written and oral English;
•    At least 3 years’ related experience;
•    Necessary computer knowledge.
